During COVID, First Steps was the first festival in the streets of Rotterdam. Numerous performances took place in the areas of circus, dance, opera, poetry, rap, spoken word, and theater on various (pop-up) stages and rooftops scattered between Stationsplein, Schouwburgplein, the Koopgoot, and the Stadspodium near the Laurenskerk.

Vormlust designed the identity for this, ranging from posters to flyers, signage to videos, and t-shirts. By developing a simplistic visual language, First Steps gained a recognizable and impactful appearance.
